Brian Bushell and Associates Pty Ltd Acquisition

Australian Consolidated Insurance Limited announces the completion of the acquisition of Perth based insurance broking firm Brian Bushell and Associates Pty Ltd effective 31st May 2007. Brian Bushell and Associates Pty Ltd becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of the Australian Consolidated Insurance Limited group of companies.
This acquisition further strengthens the group with a team of highly competent experienced brokers and an excellent client base.
I am delighted to announce that Principal Brian Bushell will maintain an involvement with the group in a consultancy capacity which gives further strength to the current executive team in Western Australia. The acquisition will involve merging of the WA operations of Australian Consolidated subsidiary company ACI Broking (WA) Pty Ltd with Brian Bushell and Associates Pty Ltd.
Current ACI Broking (WA) Pty Ltd WA Chief Executive Neil Watson assumes responsibility for the combined operations.
