Risk management makes it 8 for ACIL

THE PERTH-BASED AUSTRALIAN Consolidated Insurance Limited group has just launched its 8th subsidiary by going into risk management with its new company Consolidated Risk Management Pty Limited.
Consolidated Risk Management has opened in Sydney with the appointment of John. A. Jones as its CEO.
Mr Jones is a qualified electrical engineer and has worked in risk management since 1976, providing specific expertise in property loss control and highly protected risks as an insurance company risk manager, said Wayne Miller, ACIL group managing director.
Mr Jones was for 14 years with an international insurance broking firm. He has extensive experience in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and USA following training by a leading highly protected risk insurer, Mr Miller said.
“His diverse and extensive practical risk management experience has enabled John to develop company survival methodologies - Business Continuity Planning. He has done this work with manufacturers, printing and mining industry companies which provides considerable scope for risk management consultancy expertise to our group and its clients.”
Mr Miller said: “John is available for insurance brokers and large corporates who are seeking high level strategic and highly protected risk management consultancy services.”
He has joined the executive team of ACIL group.
The latest move follows ACIL’s acquisition of underwriting agencies Aurora and CEMAC and New Zealand insurance broking firms.
ACIL’S subsidiaries are now: ACIL Broking Services, Tasman Insurance Brokers, Clarendon Insurance Brokers, Aurora Underwriting Agency, Hammond Insurance Broking, CEMAC Pty Ltd and Consolidated Wealth Management.
